Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 October 2026

Shorts Studio is a desktop app that runs on your own computer. This policy explains what the App, this website and the checkout handle, and where that data goes.

1. The App keeps your work on your computer

The App has no user accounts, no analytics, no tracking and no server of ours. We receive none of your projects, prompts or keys.

2. What goes to AI services

When you press a generate button, the App sends what that step needs (your prompt, and for some steps an image or audio from your project) from your computer to Replicate, or to a provider whose key you added yourself, such as Google AI for reference analysis. Those services process it under their own privacy policies and bill your own account.

3. Buying the App

Checkout is run by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle collects your payment details, name, email address and country to take the payment and handle tax; see the Paddle privacy policy. We (Petr Filishin, the seller of Shorts Studio) receive your order details — name, email, country and what you bought — and use them only to deliver the App, provide support and handle refunds. We do not sell this data or send marketing email without your consent.

4. This website

This site uses no analytics and sets no cookies of its own; fonts and media are served from this site. The Buy button opens the Paddle checkout, which is covered by Paddle’s policy. The demo video, if you play it, is embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com).

5. Keeping and deleting data

Everything the App stores is in its folder on your computer. Delete a project’s folder under data/projects/ to remove that project, or delete data/app-config.json to remove your saved token and keys. There are no copies on our side. To have your order details deleted, write to us; Paddle may keep payment records for as long as tax law requires.

6. Children

The App and this site are not intended for anyone under 13.

7. Changes and contact

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest change. Questions: write to [email protected].
